INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEAN UP – September 19
On Saturday September 19th, 2009 you can be a part of the world's largest, one-day volunteer effort to clean up the marine environment. Volunteers are needed for International Coastal Clean-up at multiple locations. Volunteers not only remove trash, but also track the types and sources of debris found using data cards. This information serves as a powerful tool for educating the public, influencing public policy, and effecting positive behavioral change.
